PlayStation State of Play

Didn't watch it because they confirmed there was going to be zero information about the PS5. It was funny that they wrote so much about that. They knew people were going to hype it up too much otherwise.

I thought it was very underwhelming. IMO this generation might go to XBox. From what they shown off game wise, they seem to have more titles i'm interested in and it seems like PS5 is focusing on indie-grade titles...... in addition to that, the fact the PS5 is struggling to output real 4K is a bit concerning to me.

The real 4K thing was false I believe. There seems to be a lot of fake rumours coming out about the PS5 recently for some reason. PS5 has a lot more games to announce as well. If anything, the Xbox has been very underwhelming so far especially with the delay to Halo.

I'm pretty sure the PS5 and next xbox will put out a pure looking picture, 4k or whatever it ends up being. I know some next xbox games won't run at 4k, so they got that problem as well.

The problem is the marketing, most top-end gaming rigs these days can't put out a full 4K x 60 or 120 stable. These rigs are far more powerful than the consoles coming out, so I personally don't think 'true 4K' is going to be a thing, at least not for awhile, but what gets me is the way they market these boxes, and im pretty sure that's where these 'rumors' started.
