What are your thoughts on Pokemon? Do you like it? Have you ever liked it?

I have always been a big fan of Pokemon. Though, I care more for the actual Pokemon themselves and not the tv/movies. I personally feel the shows would be so much better with the Pokemon only.

How would pokemon only work? Whole shows of them saying "pika pika" to each other? :S

Anyway, was a big fan as a kid. Nowadays however it's just another annoying kids show to me though. IMO it'd be a lot more enjoyable without the ever annoying team rocket showing up every episode. Also what's up with the beauty shows in the new series? 0_o

After 10 or so years of the show being around and him still practically being the same age and always re-learning a lesson in some new fangled way. I long ago lost interest. Only the video games themselves hold any interest for me.

I liked watching pokemon when it first came out, it was cool and i at the time i liked to collect the cards so it was awesome. Now i feel like its just another show that's been around to long.

I liked the first couple of episodes of Pokemon with Team Rocket, but now it's getting boring. It isn't just the show, the games are getting boring too. The only reason why I still like Pokemon is because of the competitive battling over Wi-Fi in the DS games (EV training / IV breeding).

I prefer the games over the anime, tbh. I've never read the manga, so I can't really give an opinion on that. The anime was good at first, but I feel like once they hit Hoenn, it got kinda boring. There have been some bits through Hoenn onward I liked, but very few. I might try watching it one day once it finishes, if ever. I'm awful with keeping up with ongoing anime, though there's quite a few seasons prior to the current one, haha.

I prefer the games too, though I don't play them as much as I used to (there's no way you could "catch 'em all" nowadays). As for the anime, I enjoy it, but I think the X/Y series has went a bit downhill; it's nowhere near as good as some of the older ones in my opinion.

Actually with technology as it is now a days, you could literally catch em all just by doing trades and or online trading.

The anime is pretty bad outside of the nostalgia factor. Huge fan of the games tho.
