WASHINGTON -Teens and young adults say they're seeing more harassment and bullying online these days. Fifty-six percent tell an Associated Press-MTV poll that they've been the target of mean behavior, false gossip or tricks on social networking sites or in text messages. And most of those say they were deeply upset by the experience.

The poll of young people ages 14 to 24 shows that a third of them have been involved with sexting, the sharing of nude photos or videos of sexual activity. And among those in relationships, 4 out of 10 reported cellphones and computers being used by their partners to abuse or control them.

Three-fourths of the young people say they consider these kinds of online behaviors, sometimes called digital abuse, to be a serious problem.

Questions: Ever been a victim of harrassment and/or bullying? Ever been involved with sexting?

Nope and no.

(It's easy to avoid if you aren't a member of a social networking site and don't have a cell phone

Yes, to both questions. It's really not that big a deal though, I don't understand why people let it get to them so much.
