The thing I don't like about polygamy is it's usually about one man marrying a bunch of women and I don't feel like that's fair at all. I feel like it would be a step-backwards for feminism because it encourages men who would like to collect women as objects to do so and not to treat them as human beings that they are genuinely emotionally connecting with. Usually it's religious men who do so and it's like they're trying to be promiscuous, but do so in a legal way so they can feel morally right about it. I don't know. That's just how I feel. And I feel like it's a struggle enough sometimes in society to be respected and be a woman.

polygamy is treated as a joke amongst tennagers, but until you know what it is like to be:

a) in love,

married, or

c) abused,

you can't really understand that polygamy is wrong.
