Now I know what some of you are thinking. You're thinking that is the title for a Linda Ronstadt song. And you'd be right but it's also the thread title. lol I know this guy who for some reason goes around trying to make people feel sorry for him. Why, I don't know, but he's pretty good at it.
Is it merely just a cry for attention? It appears that most of the pity he gets is from women. They have that maternal instinct and the mother in them comes out. The problem is that when he gets the pity, he feels justified in how he feels, then he becomes even more full of self pity. Eventually he just wallows in it, it becomes a cycle of sorts.
I won't give him what he wants (pity) because it isn't what he needs. Life can be tough and sometimes you just have to be tough to survive it. JMHO
