Ever do this in your free time?

I think its a pretty cool hobby.. However I dont have the materials necessary and I wouldnt know where to go to do it.

I have a friend with a pottery wheel. I'm no good at it, but I think it's lots of fun.

@ hollow abyss--I have a flower pot and a couple of deformed jars/cups/something, I'm not sure what, that my kids each made in 5th grade. They're all real special to me.

I did it for a few months last year at school. Lots of fun, it's a real nice sensation having all the muddy slippery clay that you can form to your liking, on a spinning wheel, with lots of tools and paint to use.

Fun. We were meant to pick them up at the end of the year but I made sure that they were brittle enough to spontaneously crack. Then the teacher would say, Oh what a pity.
