What are yours thoughts on pre-cooked/packaged/box food? It's proven that these meals are generally less healthy due to preservatives. Does this stop you from eating these types of meals? If you do partake in these meals, what are your favorite kinds?

I like hamburger helper. Stroganoff is my fav :P

They have their place, packages meals that is.

On the other hand, we do most of our cooking from scratch.

And, on the subject of Nebulous's post, I had been thinking about making that.

But following something like this instead of using a box.

Recipe by Chef John

"This is a fairly lean version of beef stroganoff, as most recipes call for more cream. This is something you can easily adjust to your tastes. I like a little thicker version, with just enough sauce to coat the meat and noodles."

And I would use sour cream instead of the creme fraiche, it works just as well.

That sounds fairly easy to make and I have most of those ingredients. :)
