On a smartphone or tablet, what aspect of it do you prefer before buying the product?

:|

Performance is the most important aspect IMO.
A quad-core ARM Cortex-A53 can do 60% more than a budget quad-core ARM Cortex-A7 when it comes to demanding applications. MSM8916 and MT6589T respectively. Both having 1GB of RAM.

I only use my phone for light gaming and web browsing (and calls/texts) so battery is what is most important to me.

My current phone has a "quad core" processor and my last one had a "dual core" processor, but it seems like they work the same to me. :dontknow:

Code:
4x Cortex-A7 @ 1.2 Ghz = 2x Cortex-A9 @ 1.2 Ghz =? 2x SD400 Krait 200 @ 1.2 Ghz < 4x Cortex-A9 @ 1.4 Ghz < 4x SD600 Krait 300 @ 1.9 Ghz < 4x SD80X Krait 400 @ 2.3/2.5 Ghz < 4x Cortex-A57 @ 2.0 Ghz + 4x Cortex-A53 @ 1.5 Ghz (SD810)

Also: 4x Cortex-A7 @ 1.5 Ghz < 4x SD410 Cortex-A53 @ 1.2 Ghz = 2x SD400 Krait 300 @ 1.7 Ghz

But based from my experiences, Cortex-A7/Krait 200 are budget-oriented. Cortex-A9/A53/Krait 300 for mid-rangers, and Cortex-A15/A57/Krait 400 for high-end market.

Preferably batter life, but OS comes to a close second.
