If a woman is pregnant and in the military, what should happen to her?

Can they sit a desk in iraq or afganistan ?

Oh, Why would a pregnant soldier be deployed to Iraq/Afghanistan in the first place? Even if it was unknown at the time, if the female soldier was pregnant, she would have to fly back to the states and peruse duties here at home. However, they have green zones where it is safe around there.

Some women purposely get pregnant as a way out.

Not worth risking a newborns life, even if it was the mother's intention. Send her back home, with maternity leave for 9 months, then back to work.

they probably need more than just nine or ten months. probably more like a year and a half. my aunt is a cop (I know, they're not that close) and she still got like a year of maternity leave so that she could wean the baby so that my uncle could look after it.
