If you were getting married, would you make him/her sign a prenup? Why or why not?

hrmmm.... if I had a ton of money at stake I might but honestly this does scream some mistrust. Though if the girl of my dreams asked me of it, I'd probably sign it.

I would sign one in a heart beat. Let her money and wealth be hers and let my money and wealth be my own. My mother and step father have never had a joint account in over 27 years in marriage. They both keep what they make. My mother doesn't take my step father's check when he gets it. She keeps her paycheck and they split the bills.

This is the smart way to live. Just have a clear understanding of what needs to be paid, if one needs help here or there then so be it.

I wouldn't even think about that. Something that I do not know the options here. As a wife and husband, you would pick and decide together. But in my life, I doubt that I never get married. Stick to be Single and poor

I would. Prenups set expectations for a division of assets and finances in the event of divorce.

Well, if I have nothing to lose why not. I would want to go ahead with it but I hope I wouldn't be see as a hold digger because I'm not
