I tried to make a Ubuntu Linux disk and I thought I was successful but when I tried to use it to boot, it gave me an error saying it couldn't boot and I didn't want to waste disks and since I saw that I could request a free CD from them, that's what I decided to do.

What I'd like to know what should I be doing within Windows 7 - Home Premium to prepare for the move over to Ubuntu Linux 10.04?

Feel free to ask me questions if needed.

I feel since I don't use Windows the way I use to I feel I can move over to Linux.

Thanks,

Andy.
