Princess charged with fraud

A Spanish judge has summoned the youngest daughter of King Juan Carlos to appear in court over accusations of fraud and money-laundering.

The Infanta Cristina, 48, has been linked to the business affairs of her husband, Inaki Urdangarin, who is being investigated for alleged embezzlement.

The princess is now a formal suspect and should appear in court on 8 March.

When the police found out and said the princess and her husband had to appear in court, her father, the king, and her brother, the crown prince, stood by with stern looks on their faces. "You should not have done that," they said. The common people were also relieved that the law also stretched to the princess, saying "What you did was wrong and you must be punished."

The princess would appear before the judge in March and the people lived happily ever after.
