I think people who feel the need to grope each other in public are trying to convince themselves that their relationship is the love of the century. I dont' think someone is less "loving" if they aren't all over their spouse or partner in public. We used to value more formality and manners. Now if you DON'T display all of your emotions in public you are accused of not caring, feeling, etc. Some people are more private people. That doesnt' make it less than

I can see where you're trying to come from but I don't think that's always the case. I think a lot of it has to do with people lacking common sense. There's a time and place for everything.

One way women like to show off I've noticed is hanging on the arm of the guy they're with as if they're claiming ownership of them.

but it need not only be women so who knows.

I still value formality and manners

Yeah their commercials suck nowadays. I used to use Geico as my car insurance for years. I got in ONE accident and they doubled my rates, so I dropped them.

Never had a partner, so I cannot say. But, I do have a somewhat funny story. When I was working at Walmart there was this girl that was arguing with her boyfriend and the next time I saw them on the same day they were in the middle of the action alley making out. I guess they resolved their argument.
