People who use public transit for their daily commute (or just every once in a while), what are some of your worst experiences? Best?

I don't, but there are always some very interesting people on the public transportation options we have here. I usually only take the Max (light rail train), but I haven't seen too many weirdos on it myself. My brother takes it every day to go to work and he says there are some nasty ass people on there with sores from drug use and all that.

I use a bus daily and not very happy at how packed out the bus is with people, you can't even move!

Lately I have been trying out less busy bus routes.

Where we live now has a mass transit system.

They run full sized city buses and cover a good amount of the town. On most routes, one goes by every fifteen to twenty minutes.

You rarely see more than three or four people on any of them most of the time. Yes, ridership is higher in the early morning and the afternoon, but for the majority of the day, the driver may be the only person on the thing.

How is that "green"?

I hate Transit systems, they are uncomfortable to ride and very slow paced. Not only that, it steals are tax paying dollars, while they still over-price bus fees.

How would you fix those issues you mentioned?

If I was a city mayor? Well first, people with low income I would give discounts on bus passes and tickets. I would add a bigger fleet of buses to desired routes with a lot of traffic.

Rip the Government off. :|

Where does the government get their money? Your tax dollars, you're stealing your tax dollars from your tax dollars.... How are you solving the problem? :P
