Often been accused to being rasist - because of my belief. I have encounted alot of groups/forums - online, that are promoted as community friendly heathen groups and then you look on there and it's post after post about anti islam, anti coloured folk, keep england english, white pride etc etc etc.

Not really been around rasicm much offline, except someone inviting me on his golden dawn marches - **** off!

My friends neighbor is a perfect example of a racist.

They are ignorant and need to keep their racist feelings and hateful words to themselves.

What is the most racist situation you have encountered?
My girlfriend who is white married a man of color and they have two beautiful 6 year old twins. The neighbor next door to them calls the girls "wiggers" and won't allow her children to play with them. The neighbors daughter (who is the same age and attends the same school) had a birthday party at the house. The daughter asked if my friends twins could come to the party and the little girl was told that no "wiggers" were allowed in their house. I was there that day and it broke my heart when the twins asked my friend what "wiggers" were and why they couldn't go to the birthday party.

Whites unwelcome at college diversity 'happy hour'

OLYMPIA, Wash. (AP) — South Puget Sound Community College says it was a mistake for an employee group to invite only people of color to a diversity "happy hour."

The group that sent out the email last week apologized the next day and canceled the event, said Kellie Purce Braseth, dean of college relations.

The invitation to all 300 staffers said the "Staff, Faculty and Administrators of Color" encouraged employees to reply to the invitation to find out the confidential date and time of what was being called a "happy hour" to "build support and community" for people of color.

The invite made it clear white people were not welcome.

"If you want to create space for white folks to meet and work on racism, white supremacy, and white privilege to better our campus community and yourselves, please feel free to do just that," the email read.

Karama Blackhorn, program coordinator for the school's Diversity and Equity Center, helped write the invitation.

It could have been worded differently, but she maintains the staff members of color would have a more honest discussion about race without white employees.

And then there are those, such as the example above, who intentionally paint themselves as such (pun? what pun?) to sell something. In this case, an album that otherwise would pass quietly into history and only be mentioned as the question to a $100 answer on Jeopardy.

Principal: L.I. High School Students Suspended Indefinitely For Displaying Confederate Flag

SOUTH HUNTINGTON, N.Y. (CBSNewYork) – Two Long Island high school students have been suspended for allegedly bringing a Confederate flag to school.

Brother Gary Cregan, principal of St. Anthony’s High School in South Huntington, said the two seniors walked in with a Confederate flag draped around their shoulders during an after-hours sporting event at the school.

As CBS 2′s Kathryn Brown reported, there is outrage and disgust on Long Island.

“The African-American students who immediately saw it really exercised heroic restraint and fortunately a teacher immediately confiscated the flag and took the students out of the gym,” Cregan said.

The students were initially suspended for 10 days, but Cregan decided Tuesday they won’t be allowed back, Brown reported.

Cregan wrote a letter to parents saying the use of any symbols “designed to revive past injustices or to inflame discrimination or racial intolerance, is completely unacceptable and profoundly offensive,” Newsday reported.

Cregan said he sees the flag as a symbol of hate.

“I find it just very hard to even imagine why any student in 2014 would even consider or think that a Confederate flag would be anything other than a symbol of hate,” Cregan said.

Gee, not doing anything you wouldn't have done normally sure must be tough. They're not bulls, waving a flag around should cause them to charge at you.

What is worse is that he, and the district administration, and most of the teachers, Believe, and Teach what he said to the kids.

Never mind the fact that the flag displayed was the Battle Flag. Not the flag of the Confederate States of America.

A symbol has no power but that which one gives it. So if someone's going to be offended by a symbol, it doesn't really matter what it meant at its inception

Hundreds of people were killed because of their ethnicity after South Sudan rebels seized the oil hub of Bentiu last week, the UN says.

They were targeted at a mosque, a church and a hospital, the UN Mission in South Sudan said in a statement.

It added that hate speech was broadcast on local radio stations, saying certain groups should leave the town and urging men to rape women.

The Nuer community are seen as supporters of rebel leader Riek Machar.

President Salva Kiir is a member of the country's largest group, the Dinka.

Although both men have prominent supporters from various communities, there have been numerous reports of rebels killing ethnic Dinkas and the army targeting Nuers since the conflict broke out in December 2013.

Since then, more than a million people have fled their homes in what was already among the world's poorest nations.
