Have you ever done a random act of kindness for a stranger? What did you do?

Helped old people across the road, Helped people onto busses with shopping or buggy, given change to homeless or buskers, bought food, ciggys for homeless people, told people directions and where to get off on the bus.

Yeah, pretty much all those basic things. If I can help and it's not too much trouble, why wouldn't I do it?

For years now I have been a volunteer to bring cancer patients to their Chemo treatments and wait with them so they are not feeling alone. I also make it a point to visit the local Nursing Home once a month where I have lunch and participate in activities with the elders. It's important for me to remember these elders in the Nursing Home since many of them are just dumped there by family members who don't even bother to visit them.

Random act is something that is just a spur of the moment type thing--usually I do that at the grocery or wal-mart and let people in front of me.

Other acts that I do, well--those aren't random and are my busines...

Yep, helped this old man with his groceries once. I noticed he was having trouble getting them into his van, so I put the bags into the van and put the cart up for him.
