Ranks like FP Legend or FA Legend = Banned?

Okay, I saw a member on FP who has the rank of FP Legend, and I remembered people having this rank on Forum Advertiser having this rank as well. Did that mean they were banned, or what was the story behind it? Can someone explain please?

I don't know about FP Legends, but FA Legends were members that had contributed a lot to the community and those that everyone knew. Remember when so-and-so was here...... That person didn't post anymore for whatever reason, maybe they got caught up in school, or just moved on to other things, but a legendary poster is usually one that is held in high esteem, not banned.

That could be. I must be thinking of some of the people who were Elites or who achieved the rank of FA Legend and then they were banned for whatever reasons. I could be wrong.
