In other news, Dave Meltzer is an idiot; there's a couple people here who could rate wrestling matches better than Uncle Dave: @Dead2009, @PGen98, @MrDawn, @FallandPray...heck, even @DrLeftover could do ratings better than Meltzer.....

(1) So Danielson never had 5 stars until he came to AEW... You see Kurt? There is a way.
(2) Fun Fact: Will Ospreay has 42 5 star matches. He has more 5 star matches than Kurt Angle, Shawn Michaels,Okada, Jericho, Edge Triple H and the rock… Combined.
(3) Reminder Kurt Freakin Angle never has had a 5 star match according to Meltzer
(4) Kurt Angle should sign with AEW. He wil finally get a 5 star match, even if he can’t wrestle anymore
(5) We were a lighter, a heated tablespoon, a crack pipe and an arm vein away from having Dave rate Swerve vs Hangman 5 stars.
(6) No mention of the wig. No mention of the potatoes and receipts earlier in the match either. Moné rolled out to avoid getting a roll of receipts from Shida at one point. At least that's what it looked like. There was more than "sloppiness" going on. All of that happened before the last third of the match, when Shida pulled the wig loose during that standing punching spot, accidentally or not. Then that drama went on for five or six minutes, all the way to the awful-looking finisher. Move, wig adjust, move, wig adjust, move, wig adjust... Monè's kickout at "one" seemed more shoot spiteful than anything else, too.
Sooner or later we'll find out what exactly happened backstage after the match, too. I wouldn't be too surprised if we never see Moné and Shida in the same match in AEW again. What a weird fascinating total mess. Apparently, Dave missed the most interesting parts of it entirely. Figures!
