Reanimated/styled cartoons

There were some aboulstely amazing cartoons and animated shows when we were younger. But recently, some have been reanimated or re-styled to become more "modern". Do you think they still look good? Or do you think they should have kept the original style?

One good example is Bob the Builder

I think it can still work using Tom an Jerry and The Looney Tunes as an example.

There are definitely some good examples of it. But the majority of the shows that I used to watch have been ruined, to be honest.

To be fair, with spongebob its less reanimating and just kind of updating since there wasn't really a point where it stopped.

True. Whilst the updated look isn't too bad, the episodes now definitely aren't as great as they used to be which is a shame.

Yeah that part I can agree with. Luckily it's not at it's worst anymore. The really notorious episodes are behind us I think.

I did hear that there was going to be a spin-off series based around Patrick which I'm not too sure about. I'm 100% sure the OG creator didn't want any of these things to happen.

Oh god I think thar would peobably end up like Planet Sheen. Annoying and hated. I actually think I heard that Steven Hillenburg didn't want the show to continue after his departure or something like that.

That's what I saw on the Spongebob Reddit (Bikini Bottom Twitter). They have definitely started going against his wishes but that's not too surprising. They all want more money. Like Krabs actually lol

I won't lie... I kinda lost respect for Nick ages ago. It's sad, because once upon a time Nick was respectable.

There are some animated cartoons that are not appropriate for kids.
