I won two posting contests on one forum and each contest paid $100 cash.

I also won the Off Topix contest along with (then) Monster.

I have been thanked by numerous sites for my contributions but the only time I have ever won a contest was a random lottery where I won a lousy domain.

I'm usually recognised for helping folks with their computer problems and have been doing that for around 8 years or so on various forums.



The best bit about it is when someone says thank you and I must admit I get quite a buzz out of that even now after all these years.
