I have little to no information about movies and superstars, especially those in Hollywoods, I only know very few names. I never recommended any movie to anyone since I really don't watch TV at all except for exclusive news only. Anyone can recommend me a funny comedy movie?

Smooth said:
Beverly Hills Cop, 1, 2 and 3.
My ol' man recommends Anchor Man. (Personally, I think Will Ferrell is a completely talentless moron, but the ol' man loved it.)
Any movie with Jim Carrey (Bruce Almighty) or Adam Sandler.
An excellent vintage comedy is definitely Animal House; another is The Blues Brothers.
Patch Adams which stars Robin Williams.
Again from the ol' man, a movie with George Burns titled God.

That should get you started, Madi!

Great! I will check them out. Thank you, Smooth

I watched "Liar Liar" (with Jim Carrey) again the other day and it's still funny. :P

I still haven't got enough time to watch all these movies in suggestions, but by mere chance, I watched T.V and I found Horrible bosses. It is terribly funny, I kept laughing though I watched it when it was in cinemas.:rofl::rofl:

There are a lot of comedies out there and some that fall under different sub-genre. I enjoy comedies like Dirty Rotten Scoundels, ANYTHING by Mel Brooks (Blazing Saddles, Young Frankenstein, History of the World). I love Monty Python and the Holy Grail. Ferris Bueller's Day Off is a good one. Ghostbusters and Back to the Future can be considered comedies as well. Oh, oh! Dumb & Dumber. Planes, Trains & Automobiles. The Princess Bride.

If you like some of the newer comedies, I'd go for:

40 Year Old Virgin
Shaun of the Dead
Zoolander
Tropic Thunder
Anchorman
Wedding Crashers
Step Brothers
