If people get felonies, they can't get jobs. In that case, is it a wonder they go back into crime, so definitely along with punishment and rehabilitation, we need to provide a way for them to get jobs and there are jobs for felons. Anyway, though, I wonder how many places do this. For instance, taking autistic people, for example, there are only certain places where real programs for them exist and outside those places, it's nearly impossible for them to get work (due to discrimination).

There are outlets most places for people with criminal history, it's just a case of finding the right outlet. Sometimes it's even a case of being a self-starter. It's hard, very hard, but doable.

Depends on individual to individual and the type of crime. If there is hope for reform then perhaps rehabilitation could be considered but habitual offenders need to be punished.

In my book, punishment should be carried out against criminals, especially those who commit serious crimes. In this manner, they cannot hurt innocent souls.

I would say rehabilitation as that way the society will get more well behaved people and they could be assets to their family as well.

I really believe that it should be subjective to individual prisoner and crime. You can't think of rehabilitating a cold blooded murderer. Chances is that they would hardly ever want to change.
