Would you prefer to be in a relationship a quiet or a talkative person?

What are the pros and cons of each personality type?

Which one are you?

I wouldn't want to be in either. I'd want to be in one where the person knows when to stop talking and when it's okay and good to talk. I want a happy medium.

Happy medium is good; but if I have to choose I'd go with quiet.

"Still waters run deep." :)

Quiet is good but not toooo quiet. If they're quiet around other people, thats fine but I'd hope they'd open up to me every once in a while.

Exactly this! I want to be with someone who enjoys silence, just like me

My fiancé is too quiet sometimes.
Pressure on a quiet person to have more to say sometimes only makes them draw into their 'shells' and be even quieter. Comfortable talking from a quiet person has to be spontaneous. :)
Trust me; I know what I'm talking about. :p:D

I know what you mean. There are times when she's really chatty. But these last few days there have been periods where she is as quiet as a mouse during parts of the day.

When she's ready, she'll talk more.
Maybe a lesson in patience for you. :)

Trust me, I've had years to learn how to give a woman her space. Had plenty of practice with some old girlfriends and an ex-wife. I never pressure her to do anything. If there's tension, I just go outside and mow the lawn or find something to do to get out of her hair. I remove myself. If she wants to be alone, she'll go play her video games in the bedroom. I'll just watch tv in the living room. I have no issues with what she wants to do.

Sounds like we're dating the same person. :P
...although I need my own space sometimes too. Thats why I prefer to have my own room. Its less common but not uncommon for couples to have separate bedrooms. My grandparents had separate bedrooms and were happily married for 50+ years. I know of a couple other couples who do the same thing.
