Do you rent your home or do you own your home?

I am too young to rent or own. However my room at college is rented and my house is owned by my parents and all paid off.

I'm too young to rent or own. But our house is owned and rented by us.

Not my house, but my mums she owns it.

I live with my parents.. Technically I rent, because they can't pay the bills. XD

I own AND rent, I guess you could say. I own a mobile home which is in a park. I have to pay lot rent . I was lucky, I was able to pay for my house in full. I do not know how people who had to take out a loan to buy the place, and then have to pay lot rent.

My neighbor and I had a year long discussion with the park management because they wanted US to pay to take down a dead tree which was right on the line between the two houses. We felt that we did not own the land, just the houses..and that tree was there long before either of us.

Ended up, that this spring the tree got so bad it was dropping branches..and messed up the roof on my house. The park finally took it down. And while bringing out the limbs, hit my neighbors house and put holes in his siding, and almost broke one of the brand new windows he had just put in a few weeks before. Park has still not fixed his house. I had to pay to fix my roof.

So in the end it would probably have been better for the two of you to pay a tree service to do the job.

Yeah..pretty much. 20/20 hindsight.
