They say that nothing lasts forever, and I agree, especially when it comes to MP3 Players. I have a Sandisk Sansa 1GB MP3 Player that'll be two years old in March, and I have a GPX 1 GB MP3 Player that I got on Black Friday last year. I got the GPX one kind of cheap. It's a year old and the stupid thing died on me already. I was adding some Christmas songs to it, and it must be funked up because I either kept getting all these stupid file errors, or else it will only add so many songs at a time now. I added a Lorie Line Christmas album along with a couple of others, and when I unplugged my MP3 Player, it showed only 8 songs on there despite the fact that I actually added more than 8 songs. This is nuts. I guess this is also what I get for buying stuff on Black Friday as well...

Seriously, though, have you ever had to replace your Ipod or MP3 player for any reason? What were your reasons behind it?

I have one that Ive had for about 2 or 3 years. Its starting to mess up. They headphone jack is stupid. The headphones have to be plugged in a certain way for it sound clear. If it moves, then the sound will be distorted or cut off. When I am walking, that usually an annoying pain.

I had to replace an iPod because the hard drive fried. I kept my old 60gb on the dash of a friends car, and we forgot about it for two days. Didn't work.
