Reptiles as pets

always wanted a lizard... :(

I heard good things about ferrets. As long as you ferret proof your house and get their scent glands removed I heard they make good pets and that they can be pretty funny and entertaining 🤗

I couldn't house break the one I had. He liked to shit everywhere.

You can train them to use a litter box

He would only use the litter box in his cage. But when I let him out in a room, he wouldn't use it at all. He'd go in a corner instead. Even if I put a litter box in the corner, he'd go to the corner where it wasn't at.

It’s too bad you had that experience. I would have liked to have sugar gliders but they go to the bathroom everywhere

Have you ever had a reptile for a pet?
No I have not.

What did you have?
Never had one.

Do you like reptiles?
Yes, they're pretty cute.

There's no way they pass as being safe to have as a pet.
"As expected, their rarity – combined with their intriguingly prehistoric looks – has piqued the interest of many, including pet lovers yearning to own and care for them in their homes. " ...

My girlfriend really wanted a yellow anaconda. I said " no" to that idea. I don't want a snake any bigger than a red tailed boa. No Burmese pythons and definitely no Anacondas that get to being 15 feet long.
"Well, gee, I don't know; I haven't seen Wessel all day." :dontknow:

After seeing that movie starring Lopez, anacondas will forever creep me out.

Seems like every once in a while someone discovers an extraordinarily huge anaconda in a Florida swamp. The supposition is someone's pet that got to be too much for them to handle so they turned it loose.
