Police in North Carolina say they cuffed Charles Ray Miller after finding the 47-year-old -- who happens to live on Naked Creek Road in the town of Conover -- nude from the waist down.
After receiving a tip, police headed to a shopping center's parking lot in Rock Hill where they encountered a man without any clothing on the lower half of his body, according to HeraldOnline.com.
When officers asked the man why he got naked behind a Sears store, he allegedly gave a simple answer. I was trying to get a tan, he reportedly stated.
Miller was charged with indecent exposure, and officers say they recovered a cell phone containing photos he had allegedly taken of his privates.
