When in Darian, GA.

Go to Smokey Nebulous's BBQ.

Get Brisket. But order extra sauce. Trust me on that.

This place has trophies with pigs on top, kitchen utensils bolted to boards, and cooking pots screwed to large pieces of lumber, all with dates and events and judges rankings on them.

And they earned it.

Dinners start around ten bucks, and well worth it.

Off I-95 at exit 49, State Highway 251, just west of the outlet mall.

Sounds great!

I'll review iHop.. 8/10.

their website: http://ihop.com/

Hardly any other restaurant in town offers the Kids eat free promotion. My daughter LOVES pancakes (her favorite food) so I can feed both of us for under $10.

PS, and Oh, by the way.

Carolina BBQ & Chicken Inc. in Emporia Virginia on 58 just east of I-95 is a great place to stop for lunch. Good home style food on a buffet for a decent price is always worth a try, isn't it?

The only shortfall on the buffet was with the gravy, but with good fried chicken and catfish, great sausages, BBQ ribs that fall off the bone, and all the fixings.... I'll forgive them bad gravy.

Two adults ate all they wanted for lunch, and walked out for under twenty dollars, including drinks and tip.

Seaman's Cove just north of I-10 on state route 63 just north of Pascagoula, MS.

The fried seafood platter was very good with fresh local shrimp and a crab cake that didn't seem to to contain any bread crumbs or other filler.

It's one of those small local places that still tries to represent local food in a positive way. There's other places that may have better prices, and some with better food, but this place seemed to score well in both categories.

As with anyplace that has fresh local seafood, it depends on what came off the boats as to what's best and so on. So listen to the waitress and what she recommends before you decide what to get.

The prices weren't bad, and the food was pretty good, so on the whole, we'll recommend the place.
