He is major in LGBT representation and always has LGBT actors/actresses in his stuff. The first thing of his I watched was Glee and I thought it was super amazing. He's gone onto stuff like American Horror Story, American Crime Story, Pose, Monster: Jeffrey Dahmer, 9-1-1, Ratched etc.

I'm similar, I like more outlandish musicals, like Sweeny Todd or The Book of Mormon, but serious musicals don't interest me much. Hard to truly get into

But I loved it for the songs more than the characters.
