Okay, when me and my mom were at my grandparents' house last night for Christmas Eve sinner and opening presents, their cat died while me and my grandmother were petting her. R.I.P Lacey. 1994- 2009. You can do the math to figure out how old she was.

Sorry for your loss

15 is really old for a cat. Sorry for you loss though.

They had a cat who lived to 20 as well. (She died in 2006)

I had a cat who lived till he was 19. He died a couple of years ago. I still miss him sometimes.

Wow, a 15 year old cat, almost as old as me

I'm sorry for your loss though, my cousin's mouse died today (Christmas day)

That sucks..

I barely react to pets dying. Ive lost so many family members and friends, pet death just doesnt seem important anymore.

Awww thats sad Nebulous. I've lost loads of family, friends and pets but I still get upset when I lose a pet.

Sorry for your loss - I hope it didn't overshadow xmas though!

Aww I'm sorry for your loss....I know how it feels to lose a pet on Christmas....

My aunt had a Poodle who was 14 years old and if you didn't know as miniature Poodles get old they have alot of problems...

She barely could hear. She would forget what she was let outside to do and then come back in and piss on the carpet. She couldn't see very good. She got to where she couldn't jump on the couch...Arthritis among other things...

Last year I was petting her and she wanted off of the couch so I let her down and she crawled under the Christmas tree and layed down and didn't get back up! It wasn't until after Dinner that we discovered her laying there...My aunt who treated the dog like a little kid every since she got it when it was like 11months....SHE was DEVASTATED....

that's so crazy, did she just like drop all of a sudden or something? like all of a sudden her head falls down?

As far as the poodle she just went under the tree and laid down....
