I default to sadness when things go wrong, and don't often get angry. I associate this as an introvert vs. extrovert trait, or fatalism vs. free will. But I have also heard that anger is easier to cope with than sadness, so people can transform their sadness to anger to handle situations better. What are your thoughts?

Both anger and sadness are negative emotions... One must find ways at addressing these emotions lest it will contribute to being unhealthy.
