Salt

Its good to get iodine in your system but not too much.

I love salt but I try to not put so much on things because its bad for you in excess.

I don't usually, depends on what I'm eating. I love salt though.

There's enough salt in most supermarket purchased food that you don't need to add it during cooking.

I've known people that want to taste the salt in whatever they're eating to the point where they didn't know what their food was supposed to taste like. To the point where they would shake the salt shaker over their plate for a set amount of time regardless of what was being served or who cooked it.

I've managed to wean my wife, who is from southern Mississippi no less, off adding salt to everything through the liberal use of every other seasoning in the spice cabinet including too much garlic for civilian use, pepper, trinity (if you don't know, look it up), and a random assortment of herbs.

Yes, salt is required for human life, Yes, the Romans paid their troops with it, NO you are not supposed to taste it in your food at every meal.

Not really, but if the food has no taste a dash will be added

Used to add it on almost everything, it improves the taste greatly in my opinion, but I stopped doing it eventually, still put a good amount on Ramon Noodles etc.

I went to put salt on my food once, and the the top feel off and it went all over my dinner...Sucked big time.
