What was this person thinking publicizing something like that? It's the equivalent of drawing a picture of Mohammed and hanging it in the town square.

Conversely they probably see us as sinful and decadent. Doesn't make any sense griping about how barbaric they are though.
It's a different way of life. Defaming the prophet is breaking one of their highest laws. I feel that this was indeed free speech, but an infringement of their law. Just like here if you shout fire to cause a panic you infringe on free speech and break the law. And If you or me, who are unfamiliar with how that society works, know to show reverence to Mohammad why not this guy who has lived there his whole life?
