If your house was burning down, what would you grab as you were running out of the house?

1. Laptop

2. Piano (Don't know how I would get that out of the house

)

3. TV.

Wallet, Keys, Phone. Those are the only thing I carry everywhere I go. Not really sure if I'd even get those though.

Phone, laptop, external hard drive, leatherman and wallet.

The phone, leatherman and wallet all stay together, laptop and external stay together as well.

I'd start grabbing my pictures of family off the wall and a couple knick knacks that have sentimental value.

Im sure your family could get themselves out..

If they are trapped or something screw all the material possessions and save them!!

I think this topic is more about what things would you save... Not people.

Most of my pictures I have duplicated by sending them to relatives. Experts will tell you that's the best way to save them. Put them all on a disc and either put it in a bank vault or give copies of that disc to relatives. One less thing to worry about in a fire.

My rats can't help themselves, and neither can the cat! I might quickly grab some things from my room (iPod, phone) IF they were in reach. See, they can be replaced, but pets and family can't.

Exactly! Material possessions (laptop, ipod, phone, whatever) can be easily replaced, even though most of them are exspensive, but your family is important, as are your pets, so you should concentrate more on family and pets more than anything. As for pictures and things like that, I agree with Princess on that score.
