41-plus years and its' still a classic horror/sci-fi flick...

 
I can tell you're definitely a fan of David Cronenberg.
Him, William Friedkin and David Lynch are probably my favorite directors.
 
Great movie, been a while since I've seen that one.
 
Out of those ones I prefer William because of The Exorcist.
Friedkin gets my vote 'cause of that, along with Cruising and To Live and Die in L.A.
Cronenberg because of Scanners and Videodrome
Lynch because of Eraserhead, Mulholland Drive and Twin Peaks
