The Guardian: Latest Scottish independence poll suggests yes campaign closing gap
A new poll released the evening before the Scottish independence referendum put the lead for the no campaign at two percentage points, after four other polls in the past 24 hours indicated that the pro-union side would win more comfortably, with 52% of the vote.

The Ipsos-Mori poll for STV puts support for the yes campaign at 49%, compared with 51% for no, excluding people who were undecided.

When the 5% who said they didn't know are included, 49% back staying in the union, compared with 47% in favour of independence. This represents a seven-point increase in support for the yes campaign, and a seven-point drop in support for no, since the last poll released by STV on 5 August on the night of the first televised debate between Alex Salmond and Alistair Darling.

Earlier on Wednesday, the final online poll for the company Panelbase found that, when undecideds were excluded, support for yes stood at 48%, and no 52%. This headline figure matched the results of three polls overnight, by ICM in the Scotsman; Opinium in the Daily Telegraph and Survation in the Daily Mail.

Ipsos-MORI interviewed 1405 people over the age of 16 between 15 and 16 September.

So...with the vote about to begin over in Scotland (polls open at 7am in Scotland, 2am on the U.S. East Coast), what do y'all think will happen? Will Scotland vote to stay in the U.K. or will they opt to go their own way and return to being an independent nation, as they were prior to the early 1700's?

Well if they vote to leave, at least I won't have to accept Scottish money at work.

if they do leave the uk then they will most likely have issues later on if they don't have any at it's beginning... the people that say they will grow wealthier, is a give or take type of situation, and anything can and does happen...

I've voted yes. I do hope for Independence, and I'm excited to hear the results tomorrow.
