What are your thoughts on scripted reality shows?



I've been seeing more and more scripted reality shows lately. If you watch TruTV, you know exactly what I mean. Operation Repo, Southern Fried Stings, and All Worked Up are all scripted TV shows that are supposed to be real but they're scripted and fake. Most of them are so exaggerated it's just corny. I wish they wouldn't script TV shows that are supposed to be reality, when in fact they're the complete opposite.

I never knew TruTv was fake. Although i only watch the cop chases and prank wars. I don't watch reality tv shows, because what you have brought up is nothing new. It's all staged, there's already an outcome and the 'actors' are nothing in real life like they are on the TV.

TruTV isn't completely fake, but most of their shows are scripted and staged. I mean, they have real TV shows, such as cops, but a few of their TV shows are fake. Only problem with their shows being fake is that they promote their Not reality, actuality, when they air shows that are reality.

Depends how scripted they are. I don't mind some that are a little scripted, but i hate when they are completely scripted and tell people they are 100% real.
