(The Guardian) Senators confront Secret Service director at Republican convention
Tennessee senator Marsha Blackburn has posted a video that appears to show her and Wyoming senator John Barrasso confronting Secret Service director Kimberly Cheatle in the halls of the Fiserv Forum, where the Republican national convention is taking place.

“This is exactly what you were doing today on the call, stonewalling,” Barrasso yells at Cheatle in the video:

It’s a sign of how the GOP is training its ire on Cheatle, amid questions over whether the Secret Service properly arranged security for Trump during his ill-fated rally in Pennsylvania.

We did not personally witness the confrontation, but are sure to hear plenty more about it in the days to come.

I saw the news replay of this a bit ago and it was really uncomfortable how they ganged up on her, but it's no wonder that they did it because she keeps avoiding any proper response to what happened. She said she's ultimately responsible for the Secret Service and yet, now we know that they could have prevented Trump from going out way before the shooting occurred and that could have saved a life!! She should do the right thing and step down and allow someone with more experience to take the role. She's obviously out of her league.

Agreed.
