Can't rant on Facebook, been told not to by the mother in case the guy gets satisfaction!
Just drove up to a 'friend of the family' to sell my Mini. ã500, It does need work the guy was told the extent of the repair work. But still ã500 is a bargain. He wanted it as a project to do up and then take to the classic car shows. Upon getting there, he saw the MOT failure and refused to buy the car out right, said it's too much money and would only take it if we dropped the price.
Baring in mind once the car is repaired it will be worth around ã3,000!!!!
He's looked up prices of subframes and thought it's too much money alone without the other work, He's had a week to contact us saying that he won't buy it off us for that price and yet had not rang.
Turned around and said he didn't realise the extent of the repairs and that we only told him that it was the brakes and subframe to be done.. No we didn't!
Insurance runs out on Friday. I now have to find a new buyer in 2 days otherwise we can't move it - unless the new owner has a trailer.
This cars a feckin pain in the arse! And my new kitten keeps walking all over my keyboard! STOP IT CAT!!!!!!!!
So basicly, the hour and a half me and my dad have just driven for was all for nothing!
