Should men found guilty of sex crimes be chemically castrated?



Many people consider sexual abuse one of the worst crimes a person can commit. In these circumstances, it has been proposed by some that such an offender should be punished, normally in addition to a jail term, by castration. Castration is the removal of the sex glands, and is normally defined in this kind of debate as a chemical process, using hormones to render them impotent. What is to be counted as a sufficiently serious ‘sex crime’, the type of castration to be used, and the circumstance under which it would operate all need to be defined by the proposition.

I'd kill them. No problems.

But, seriously, it depends. I know people that have been convicted of having sex with a 15 year old (they were in their early 20's) and were convicted of sex crimes. Although I didn't want my daughter dating an older guy when she was 15, I don't think those guys should be castrated.



People that rape young girls, molest young boys--yeah--I got no problem with those b*stards being castrated--with a dull knife.

If by chemical, you mean that their genitals are soaked in hydrochloric acid until they dissolve completely, then yes. while you're at it, dissolve their hands and feet as well this way they can't stalk, or fondle children. And they won't be repeat offenders.

What about in such cases like Princess mentioned, where a 15 year old consented but was with a 19 year old, but the 15 year old's parents decided to charge and won the case?

Well a 18 year old who slept with a 17 year old could be considered a sex offender..

I think it depends on the crime... But like child molesters and whatnot should have:

their genitals are soaked in hydrochloric acid until they dissolve completely, while you're at it, dissolve their hands and feet as well this way they can't stalk, or fondle children.

What if they agreed to it, but they were not of the age of consent, like I mentioned in a 15 year old with an 18 year old?

Should the 18 year old still be castrated for it, though? They are barely an adult themselves.
