12 dead, 31 wounded at a shooting at Fort Hood, Tx.

The shooter walked into a processing center at Ft Hood Tx and opened fire this afternoon. He is currently being reported to be an officer, and was killed by police.

2 more are being held--details currently are sketchy. http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/33678801/ns ... ?GT1=43001

It's upsetting when these things happen.

First off.....

MSNBC has gotten their facts a little wrong...

Seeing as I am in the military myself and on an Army base right now...

We receive Military News...

So we get the shit that you can't see!!!

It was 13 people.... lol

But they families are in our prayers tho.

EDIT: They just put that out on the internet too

We were watching Fox News and they were pretty reluctant to jump out there with 'facts' until the Army verified them.

Us too. It's such a terrible act.

It's so sad - that's about 4 hours away from where I live. One of my friend's boyfriend was there, but he's okay. I know a few other people there, too.

I live around 25 minutes away from Fort Hood. My dad when he was in the Army was there for a few years. It is a truly sad thing that happened there, and they even had to close the schools for a couple days.

Horrific, tragic event. Knew about it for a while, but I was reminded about it & thought I'd post on it. Really sad, hopefully he will spend the rest of his life with regret and suffering for all the pain he made others experience. May God have mercy on his soul.

Your a hypocrite arent you XD

Smooth - You are wrong, the shooter isn't dead, he is in a coma in fair condition.

My thoughts are with all involved, may the victims rest in peace.

It's a tough thing too see. I'm in the military. I'm not going too lie this was quite shocking. I just don't know how too handle this, but my prayers go out too those families who lost loved ones
