Should rape victims be forced to have a baby that they don't want? Why or why not?

Example: a 12 year old girl is raped by her uncle and becomes pregnant. Should she be forced to carry to term?

Definitely not. I am pro-life but rape is an exception. You should not be forced to give birth in the instance of rape, especially if you’re 12 years old. If you think a 12 year old rape victim should be forced to give birth, please seek help.

100% no, and it's terrible that here in the United States rape victims most likely will be forced to give birth now. I still think it's up to the person carrying the fetus if they want to get an abortion or not. The government should have no say in how people live their lives, and shouldn't be forcing people to carry these babies especially if they had no control on getting pregnant because they were raped. I will always be 100% pro-choice in any circumstance.

I believe parents can giveth life and also taketh away...so no...nobody should be forced to do anything that's what freedom fighting is all about✊

All rape victims should get compulsory abortions regardless of the development level of the fetus.

Compulsory? That would still be taking away the right to choose. I know a few rape victims who chose to carry the child to term and have raised them just fine.

Yeah allowing choice is the most important thing about freedom let everyone choose for themselves what they want that's the best way...

No they should not be forced to give birth. Especially in cases like the 10 year old who got raped... They can literally die if forced to give birth.
BUT HEY PRO LIFE RIGHT.. And let's not forget after that child is born... people give no fucks.. and will get mad anytime they need help raising the child.

I am against abortion when it comes to normal circumstances but if it comes to rape then I have to support abortion because it can ruin someone's life, not only because person is unable to take care of child but also emotionally because you will look at the child who was made by rapist for the rest of your life. Born not out of love.

However, there was a case where women were taken for 10 years and raped during that time by one man. One of the girls got pregnant and gave birth there. Kid got 3 years old and they managed to escape. She was on television and she says she loves her child.

It's always a fun, little ethical dilemma when this question arises. If you are of the belief that abortion is murder and that is ends the life of a child that had no choice in the matter, then, by that line of reasoning, a victim of rape is still committing murder and the child still has no choice in the matter. Most people will usually go, but, because the circumstances it's okay, but the circumstances don't change what made them believe it was wrong in the first place.

For what it's worth, I believe a woman has the right to choose what she does with her body and that is about where it ends with me on the topic.
