I don't mean a live audience I mean those ones in comedy shows that add the laughter.

I find it annoying

Indeed. There was a BBC show recently and I swear the automated laughter happens ALL the time even though the jokes are horrible. Seriously the show, I think it's Big Top, was a pile of s***e

Sometimes. In some shows, it's lame and the pathetic laugh that the cast has to edit into the script so the viewers know when to laugh, but other shows, such as George Lopez, rock, and even when the audience is laughing on the show, I'm usually laughing along side with them.

I don't automatically write off shows with audience laughter. But it definitely never adds to the humour.

No, I think unless there is an actual audience. I hate the audience laugh machine, becuase they always turn it on at the wrong times. They just shouldn't do it.

Lol my sisters watch disney channel. They abuse that soooo fucking bad. The laugh track plays at the stupidest jokes and even when they don't make a joke.

Depends. If it is performed in front of a live studio audience, then you cant really help but having the audience laughter in it.

However some shows aren't filmed that way and they add in recorded audience laughter in the parts they find to be funny. Which is strange and unnecessary. I can always tell when the laughing is fake too.

Sometimes, i don't like those fake ones, but i do like real laughter in some some shows.

It annoys me, I can't hear what they say and miss the funny bits.
