My wife had a marathon run last week in Fort Lauderdale. On mile 4 of the 26 mile run she took a fall bashing the left side of her face that caused swelling for eye to close shut. Her hand had a huge chunk of skin removed. Her pants got ripped at the knees and also were bleeding and hurt. And other various cuts and bruises. Bleeding and hurt for just a run that is supposed to be fun she got up and completed it in damn fine time instead of just giving up. She always says she is not that tough. I would have to disagree once and for all.
So that got me thinking should women be on the front lines fighting a war. I believe they would be no less brave and determined that is for sure. But the downside is that it has been proven over and over again is the average fit man is always stronger then a woman. Mens bodies can take the punishment of carrying heavy loads for longer times then a woman before the body sustains permanent back damage.
So I would still have to say no that answer.
