Off the top, I hate this movie, and that is the correct word. To me, Purgatory would be preferable than being forced to sit through this turkey while sober.



Second. You couldn't put this song in a movie today without having the FBI sifting through your garbage.



Lastly... It is an iconic number, from an iconic movie with music by Lerner and Loewe, with Vincente Minnelli in the center chair. It won every award worth winning, and a few that weren't. And it had the gorgeous Leslie Caron in the title role and, of course, Maurice Chevalier singing this:
