In fact, when I retired last year, even after taking a week of sick time getting ready to move, and another week in the summer for a knee procedure, I had well over a month of sick days on the books to "sell back" to the HR office.
I'm sitting here thinking the last time I had called off sick when I was really sick. It had been at least a couple of years.
