Signature Pets Megathread

Over at the Memory Lane group, we have been discussing signature pets. If anyone of you doesn't know what that is, signature pets are "pets" that can be added to your forum signature. The more people that click on your pet, the bigger it grows. Usually, they start off as eggs (check out my new dragon in my signature).

This can be a mega thread for any signature pet discussions and for sharing your eggs to get clicks.

As far as we're aware, the only existing one is Dragon Cave so feel free to register over there and share your new mythological pet!

Thank you for clicking mine. We're not getting enough clicks (only 4 clicks each). Hope that you and I clicking each others hatches them. Anyway, clicked yours this morning:

Just clicked yours but the number of clicks didn't increase. I wonder if they have some sort of weird time limit where you can only click once every 24 hours.

I don't see anything about a time limit but then again, I might be looking in the wrong place. Anyway, I clicked yours this morning: Egg will die if it doesn’t hatch in: 2 days and 15 hours

This is plain weird. Maybe that site is not functioning right. It's still showing just the 4 clicks even though I clicked yours earlier. At this rate, both our eggs are going to die

There is a statement in italics on the page saying:

(It is against the site rules to give aid to a user without their permission.)

Could that have something to do with it? I don't understand.

I saw that and it honestly confused me. Not sure what they're getting at but I think it might be about sharing the links to other peoples eggs without their permission

Found this information in the forum section of Drag Cave:

Q: How many clicks and views do my dragons need to grow?
A: There is no set amount. Hatching is based on a ratio of clicks, views, unique views, time left and time it has been alive, and type of dragon, so there is no magic number that you must reach. The higher the amount of views a dragon has, the less unique views and clicks it will need to hatch. The more unique views and clicks it has, the less views it will require. Clicks are like an extra little boost in growing up faster.

Q: How long will it take for my dragons to hatch/mature? Why aren't my eggs/hatchlings growing up?
A: Just as there is no definite amount of clicks/views/unique views needed, there is no definite time frame for hatching. Just try and get a good amount of views and unique views as you can. Every one counts. Time is a factor in the hatching process too; eggs and hatchlings cannot hatch/mature before 4 days 0 hours are left. Once they run out of time, if they do not have enough views/unique views/clicks, they will die.

Not sure, to be honest. I did check their forum and it does seem like a few other people have issues with their eggs and clicks not registering. It's a sort of lottery system because it only happens with some eggs.

I added a new egg to my signature so I guess we will have to wait and see if it works out now.

Both our eggs now have 2 clicks which is a good sign I guess. I did open both links in an incognito window so not sure if that made a difference. Fingers crossed!

Both ours now has 3 clicks which is good. I will believe there are some sites that help you hatch the egg so I will check to see if something like that will work for us.

There's a huge list of free sites (no registration) that I added my dragon egg to. The scroll name that they mention confused me for a second but it's just your Dragon Cave username
