Anyone tried Opera 10.60?

Superfast. Gotta love it!

I've used Opera in the past, and wasn't thrilled with it.

* tidbit: If you have a Wii and download the internet channel from the Wii store (it's free), the Wii Internet Channel, is powered by Opera

I tried it, and it's not all that great. Yeah, it's fast, but it gets really boring to use after a while. Like a couple of days' use.

I opened up both the latest opera (just upgraded) and FF4. I was clicking back and forth between both browsers to look at the differences and I could not really find many.

FF4 put the tabs above the address bar and the refresh button, home button, the back/forward buttons next to the address bar just like opera did.

Opera seems more compact though as the whole menu bar is condensed into one small drop down menu (placed to the left of your tabs) which gives you a quarter inch more viewing space.

I love opera. I've used it since 9.1, I think. I always upgrade to the latest alpha, and I'm almost always impressed. Firefox is a slow, lumbering beast that seems to like to graze on my memory, but Opera is always good with speed and memory usage. I also like that it has default keyword searching from the url bar (ie, g google search for google search) and speed dial. Those two features are what make the browser for me.

In response to the above comment about Opera being boring, I tend to want my browser to stay out of my way. The internet isn't boring because of what browser I use, and if my browser doesn't stay out of my way I tend to get upset with it. To Nebulous, they look the same, but I doubt FF will run as fast as Opera. Just my personal experience, though. (Besides, at least it isn't IE.

I've tried Opera and I never liked it. It's not as customizable as Firefox which I like. I hate having to stick to one theme forever.

I like opera an yeah it's fast for you guys that don't like it's design it has some custom built. I'd rather keep it how it is cause i do not like my stuff all cluttered up.

tried opera before.....it was ok............still prefer FF.......but its still prefrable to IE

Microsoft should just give up on IE, there must be like 8 people who still actually use it. LOL

What browser you use, really is down to personal preference. All I will say is this. Firefox, Google Chrome and Opera, are all far better than IE.

Personally, I use FF and have done for many years, but I do know that both Opera and GC are very good browsers. I guess I'm just so used to FF and I don't see myself changing any time soon.

I`m finding firefox just to slow.

plus it keeps failing, and I have to re-start it.
Google Chrome is very good.

What version of FF are you using?

I'm not sure, but I will download google chrome, thanks!
In FireFox, if you click Help and select About Mozilla FireFox, it will give you info on what version you're running.
