Do you like or dislike small talk ?
It really doesn't matter to me. If you want to create small talk, then I'll talk to you no problem, but it can be annoying. Anytime I see our school resource officer, he always starts small talk by asking the same question, How have you been? and I'll say good every time. He knows me because I used to play football with his son, but even still, I don't mind him creating small talk, because it doesn't hurt me and it's not a big deal. I sometimes create small talk when it's either complete awkward silence, or it's just the right moment to say something to someone. However, most of the time I'll just say hey to someone and move on, unless I know them and then small talk turns into a conversation.
