Lol I guess that topic title could be taken the wrong way..

Anyways, do your pets smother you to death? Like.. They crave attention and will never leave you alone? No matter how much you give them?

My cat is a bit attention whore.. If I had a video camera I'd film him being the psycho he is.. He is ALWAYS sitting on me or next to me. Even if I shoo him away, without even noticing it, hes right back on me again... Sometimes he sits on me and gets all comfortable and makes me feel guilty for getting up because Im disturbing him. Lol.. My cat needs to get a life.

I understand how you feel.. my dog is always whining and begging for attention. I'll pet her for 5 minutes straight, and she will still be whining and trying to get me to pet her. She is an outside dog though, so I do not have to worry about her too much, except when I go outside. Because, whenever I go outside she comes to the fence and starts crying and then I'll feel bad if I don't pet her..

Our dog doesn't crave attention, but when the cats get in that mood, it sucks......they can be such a pain.....

Hi Smooth! Thanks for your concern.

Her name is Flossy & she is a miniature pinscher. Our friends found her on the road, a stray, with no collar or owner. They posted flyers and tried to find the owner, but no one claimed the dog; therefore, we insisted we wouldn't mind raising her if she couldn't be given to her owner (if she had one). She is extremely lovable and caring, never would harm a fly. She starves for attention all the time and whatever we give her is not enough. I've been making an effort to play with her the past week to see if she would stop whining so much, but that is almost apart of her character now. She may have been abused or whatnot before we brought her into our family. She is an outside dog all the way. She has never been an inside dog, because we do not allow animals in the house because of my allergies and whatnot. However, it is a diverse climate in Alabama. It is warm/hot in the summer and fall is an ideal temperature, but it has been a little cold lately, but we have a home-made wooden dog house with a light to heat up her bed and several blankets in there for her to stay warm. Once again, I believe it has something to do with her previous owners, but we have had her for years now.

Thanks for the advice Smooth. I'll try to walk her more and entertain her while I can.

You're very helpful. Thanks again!

My dog, I swear if I did not pat him he would drown me from licking me.

I had a cat and he used to sleep on my keyboard so I could not pretty much do anything. He was a lazy fat cat. I can't type or see things on my screen lol. His tail always going up and down. I miss him now
